    Is Driver Detective worth it?

I am a regular IT user and I get problems with drivers once a month which take me a whole night sometimes to manually solve. Is driver detective worth getting? Any help would be great!

No. It could mess any system up very quickly just like any driver software.

There's nothing tricky about drivers. Visit your motherboard and graphics card manufacturer's websites every so often and install as they're released. If you feel like being extra nice, visit maker's site of mouse, network card etc...other hardware too.

Thanks alot :) it's just that I've had severe problems with my NVidia Graphics Card after a master reset and ever since I've been chasing drivers everywhere.

No need to chase drivers. If the latest one from NVIDIA's site does not work well, there is something else wrong. Always use that. You're welcome.

yes but at first my screen resoloution messed up so when trying to actually register my computer I couldn't actually see the "Next" button or get to it on my screen. This was paticuarly annoying after spending 30 british pounds (lol whats that in $$$) getting it master reset.

You might still have some old stuff hanging around with the drivers; you might take a look at Driver Sweeper to do a cleanup of the Nvidia drivers and then reinstall the latest ones.
