The driver you are refering to is the one I have. I am thinking about testing the driver for Vista instead, to see if it works better. But like you said, it's a universal driver so there should be no differens.

One thing that might help in your search. Before the already integrated tablet driver in Windows 7 was messing with the wacom driver. When I painted in Photoshop CS4 every other brush stroke was non-pressure sensitive and the whole system was experiencing heavy "lag spikes". So I turned off the original tablet driver for Windows 7 in the services section. I read in a forum that this was the proper solution for this problem. I don't think the issue I've got with the wacom driver has got anything to do with the other driver being turned off, because I was having the same issues with the wacom driver back then as well.
