    Hey addram,
here is the latest dump file. before disabling the second driver. gonna try it again with disabled second driver.

    And,

    no it doesn't say that
That dump is your wifi driver,

    Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\netw5v32.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for netw5v32.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for netw5v32.sys
     netw5v32+0x879b
    NETw5v32.sys
So, what abt the second dump file i uploaded??

Just leave it alone for now, it might be a coincidence. Your main problem is the display now, lets stick to that.

Oh, you do not want my advice on what to do next with that laptop, it involves climbing to the tallest building you can find and opening the window, I hate laptops.

But seriously, I am out of ideas, this is the oddest thing I`ve ever come across

The Vista Display adapter is different than what you have for Win 7 in Post #7

You might try to "force install" Vista drivers in Win 7.

On this site, there are not many Win 7 drivers available for the Extensa 5620 Notebook, including the display and chipset drivers.
Download Drivers and Manuals | Acer Official Site

The laptop might not be Win 7 compatible.
