How to get back to microsoft basic adapter driver

I have been having this issue with my pc Where when I open programs my screen goes black. Well I have booted my pc and the drivers that are installed are displayed as "Microsoft basic adapter" I am not sure why but. I am going to install drivers from the manufacturer of my graphics card and if it makes my issue come back how do I go back to having Microsoft basic adapter drivers

Microsoft Basic Adapter are the ones loaded from the OS when no graphics card drivers are installed. It will be only enabled when you uninstall your graphics drivers and restart your computer.
