    Drivers not detected

I'm using a very old computer and have yet to buy a new one. the windows seven cannot detect my ethernet cable and much else. It just says ethernet cable it doesn't even say what mine is. The only thing I think it could be is maybe netgear fa311/312 fast ethernet pci card. I have the floppy but it doesn't update the driver. I don't know what the other unknown driver is. I opened up the pc but I don't know what the name of the ethernet cable driver is. Possibly netgear the one I mentioned. hopefully. acc-112-011-0

    Try this...

Right Click on the caution device in device manager (the ethernet card that isn't working) -> Properties -> Details Tab -> Hardware IDs (from the drop down list) -> Post what you see

Hopefully I can get you a driver for it based on what you copy/paste back

okay i updated it it's the FA311/312 i was talking about however now I cannot connect online. it's still not going online. for one reason or another I cannot set up a connection meanwhile this is connected directly from the modem/dsl modem/router through ethernet cable to the computer.
