Fingerprint reader enrollment failed

I upgraded my ACER aspire 4930 laptop from Vista to Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded all acer driver from acer website. But only my fingerprint reader is not working. I takes my fingerprint accurately and at the end it says fingerprint enrollment failed. Please help me.

Some fingerprint readers are ridiciously hard to program and a not-so-good driver doesn't help things...

Can you post the link to the driver you used?

My Fingerprint scanner: Authentec AES1610
Fingerprint driver by ACER: V 6.1.48
In Vista i could use my fingerprint scanner perfectly. I also installed old driver for fingerprint which came with my laptop but same result. After scanning my fingerprint 6 to 8 times it says fingerprint enrollment failed.
