Do I need to update my IDT high definition Audio CODEC?

Im 63 y/o and my computer is about 3 y/o, I think? lol. Its a HP P6-2203a running Win 7 Home Premium. Im using a Mini Muse DAC that connects to an amplifier.Do I leave it as it is because it works OK or can it work better with an updated CODEC or whatever it is?

There is no need for an updated driver (if there even is one). "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Thanks mate! Ive got some fairly high end 1970s vintage Hi Fi gear and that question was bugging me because I like to get the best sound I can get out of it!

The latest IDT audio driver for the HP Pavilion P6-2203a computer is 6.10.6395.0 and you don't need to update it (unless you are planning to upgrade from Win7 to a newer OS).
