Startup repair cannot find my SSD

Hi all,
I looked thru the forums and could not find my specific problem.
Sincere apologies if I missed it.
I have a Samsung MZ7WD 480 480GB SSD as boot drive.
Having a recent slow boot, so decided to do a startup repair.
It sees no disks and asks to load drivers. I have disk/fltsrv/partmgr.sys
on a USB drive (these are listed in device manager as the drivers), but
windows says this does not what it is looking for. Says this does not
match hardware.
Any advice would be welcome as this would affect repair install also.
Thanks
Joe

Why do you do startup repair for slow boot using SSD.

If it is slow boot, it may due to some virus, malware, etc; which may be the problem.
Also, try to remember what you had done before this happened.

Firstly, do an antivirus scan using your AntiVirus (do include the full detail in your spec, hence no one will reply to you without any spec)

There may be an virus, malware, etc; affecting your slow boot.
You can download other free antivirus such as; SuperAntiSpyware.com and check this forum for more AV.

Do the scan on AV before doing next.

It also can be certain program that you have just install prior to this situation.
Try to remember.

Other options;

1. If you have System Restore, try to use it to go back to before this situation pop-up.
You need to remember when this situation happen, so that you can do the restore to before this pop-up.

Try to take note on your steps in case you have to re-trace your step.

Hi All,
Thank you for the input.
I use startup repair rarely (once every 2-3 years)
as this OS seems to corrupt system files every once in a while.
I swap in lots of hardware/software changes, so that may affect it.
I run bitdefender always, and EMSIsoft and Malware bytes regularly.
I did try system restore, boot logging etc.
I did get restore to work after 3d time and got rid of the slow bios/dos
boot. Am still working on the slow windows portion. I unloaded a ton
of old drivers thru device manager and got marginally better.
Again, many thanks for the help.

disk/fltsrv/partmgr.sys are common driver files included in every windows installation by default.
What's the model/brand of your PC? You might need to download the drivers from the website of your PC's manufacturer.

Drivers

Hi Amatos,
Understand re: drivers.
Al drivers have been updated via dell and 3d party driver software.
Machine Dell Precision 7910 64GB Ram/Dual 10 core Xeons.
Thinking of going windows 10. Not sure if that is the right road yet.
