In all video, I disable the wireless card only for purpose to avoid search drivers in Windows Update. Internet conection is not nessesary for this procedure.

Remenber unninstall all Intel extreme graphics software in add/remove software before you follow the instructions.

The file patch for these devices are the same (C:\drivers\video\win2000) and automatically are installed.

Finally, excuse me for my english... it's too bad...

    Hi
performance is reasonable. runs quite fluently and can be compared favorably with windows xp in some cases. can be used as a media player, word and excel smooth. I imagine that other heavier tasks such as photoshop, could have problems.

    My specs are:
Proc: 1,2 ghz pentium III m
    Memory: 512 Mb PC133
    HD: 120 GB @ 5400 rpm

another thing I appreciate is how little cooler fan rotates, noticing very low temperature at the base compared to Windows XP

    Hi Cris,
driver is working great. well let me define it this way. this method is "forcing" win7 to accept it. hehehe thanks for the tips again man.
    Cheers.

    Okay, for nothing.

The only issue detected until this moment is no video playback with WMP and media center. All other things works fine.

I also have a Dell Latitude C400, the PP03L Model.

But I am not having any luck getting the video drivers installed and working.

I have watched and done the same as in the videos as best as I can.

Everything seemed to be going ok, it even installed.
    Intel Graphics Chipset (KCH) Driver
    Intel Graphics Platform (SoftBIOS) Driver

I restarted like in the video still stuck in 800x600, and each time the laptop is started it tries to reinstall the video drivers again.

Can you please advice me on what to do?

    Thanks for your time.

    Best Regards.

Since dell doesn't have either a vista or win 7 driver you may have to confirm what video chipset you have with either GPU-z, or everest, and then get a win 7 or vista driver from intel. I assume its similar to my 945gm chipset and I had to do the same thing. here is dells download page incase. Drivers & Downloads
