Soundcard Driver - Audigy Soundblaster SE 24Bit - ERROR

Hi

I have done a quick search and found a few topics on this, but none of them really covered what i was after.

Basically i have Win 7 Pro, x64.... All my other drivers installed lovely apart from my soundcard. If i use Windows 7 to update my soundcard drivers i can't get any Bass, although i can still hear sound.

I have downloaded, installed and uninstalled every driver thats on the web, including the ones from Creative but still no luck.

Could some one point me in the place where a driver WILL WORK. I have 5.1 surround sound (Although this wont effect the driver)

Many Thanks
Dan

Thank you very much!

I'm currently downloading: Creative Worldwide Support

The 1st link in the list. As far as i'm aware, its the lastest one.

Hi

That driver never installed. I ran a driver clean up before i installed, rebooted computer then it said it was a error.

I found that SB24_PCDRV_LB_1_04_0090.EXE, though i don't know where i found it actually installed. I can't get the Creative options up where it allows you for how much bass you want and what speaker has more output then another etc.

I'm downloading a update. I'll let you know how it goes soon.

Problem Sorted!!!

What i did was:

1) Went to device manager, went to Sound. I then right clicked on everthing to do with sound and clicked uninstall. I also ticked a box saying delete files and pressed yes

2) I went to Control Panel, went to Programs, then clicked on uninstall Programs. There i found one or 2 programs that were assocated to my sound so they were uninstalled.

3) I rebooted my system

4) I downloaded a Driver Sweeper (What Raghakr suggest above: Guru3D - Driver Sweeper)

5) Installed that and cleaned my drive. It deleted the left over registeries.

6) Restarted my pc as the program requested

7) I downloaded P17X_SupportPack_2_0 from the creative support forum (http://www.online-shoping.cz/P17X_SupportPack_2_0.exe)
8) Installed

9) Followed on screen instructions, when prompted that a certian part of the programe hasn't been signed by Microsoft, i pressed Continue

10) Program installed and rebooted computer (again)

11) Fully working sound!!!!!!
