After Installation of Windows 7

ok i forgot to mention this after my oem installation

i installed it FRESH CLEAN install and i think it installed the drivers...i used all the recommended settings during the installation.

so....do the windows 7 installation installed the drivers for windows 7?
i didnt have any problems with any drivers or nothing but im just curious

windows have drivers set into the install already it just detects your hardware and installs the correct driver according to the find, however the drivers you install when windows is first installed are out off date so you have to update the drivers already.

You're better off manually updating your drivers, one at a time.

One at a time allows you a chance to spot anything buggy which may occur.

If you entrust the job to Device Manager you risk Windows 7 installing the generic matches that Windows 7 Setup can be fond of using.

so its best to just install the drivers from the website of my laptop manufacture? ok ima do that

Yeah, install from the purest manufacturers site you can... Intel or whetever for your chipset... ditto for your soundchip etc... bear in mind your actual manufacturer may not have the very latest versions on their own website

i installed toshiba upgrade assist for windows 7 and it did everything on its own. it insalled a bit of crap i didnt need so disabled them XD

ever since i downloaded the drivers. my computer has been running really slow and sometimes freezes for like a few seconds. this was before i installed the drivers LOL
and i feel like its running slow and only the beginning....help?

idk. i was told by toshiba that to use the upgrade assist for windows 7 but now it seems to be running smooth...i guess?
