    Canon disappoints

Canons newest printers for the multifunction MP620 crashed my drivers on Win 7 Home and forced me to remove the new drivers and reinstall the original. There is no way to get this proclaimed wireless multifunction to scan wirelessly. Is Canon really deteriorated so much?

Sorry to hear about your problems. I've had fantastic results with the Vista and 7 drivers for my MX850. Exactly what is the problem? Does Windows crash immediately after installing the drivers? Is it just one part that seems to fail (ie: printing works but scanning fails)? Does local printing work but network printing fail? Is it the drivers or the applications that are crashing?

Have you tried installing via the CD, and then manually updating drivers and applications?

Where did my answer yesterday go?

Of course it is only my Canon driver that crashes not all drivers on the PC. And I didn't say Windows crashed.
And as I am complaining the wireless scanning isn't working it would be very safe to assume the wireless printing works. Sorry if I repeat myself but I had no choice.

"crashed my drivers on Win 7 Home" means...? I took this to mean that it crashed Windows, and you were forced to remove the drivers. I didn't ask if all of your drivers cause problems - I don't know where you got that from.

You've lost me. You haven't attempted to do any printing yet? Exactly how do you have this printer connected, anyway?

This is my only recommendation - use the CD to install everything, and then install the updated drivers.
