    WM6.1 device over bluetooth on Win7 ?

I have recently purchased a HP NC2140 Netbook and have successfully installed Windows 7 beta, (and loving it).

I am trying to connect my HP 914c Windows Mobile 6.1 device via bluetooth, I managed to detect the device and pair them but get an error when trying to find the driver for "Bluetooth Peripheral Device".

I have reinstalled WMDC v6.1.6965 and tried removing the device and reconnecting.

    Anyone able to help ?

I have connected the 914c via USB and everything works fine. But reconnecting using Bluetooth still requires a driver.

I have a similar problem trying to sync my WM 6.1 Smartphone via Bluetooth using WMDC on a laptop running Windows 7. My WM Smartphone syncs fine using the USB port, but fails via BT. I can pair the phone and the laptop via BT and even transfer files, but when I click "Connect Via Bluetooth" in the ActiveSync app in the phone... WMDC displays a "Connecting" message for a few minutes, but it never syncs. It fails and displays a red X error message on WMDC, but with no details about the error. I have re-installed WMDC 6.1.6965 several times, removed the BT driver and paired and unpaired the laptop and Smartphone several times. I even installed the Toshiba Stack 7.0, but I get a "Could not connect to PAN server" error when I try to pair the devices. Any suggestions?

Btw, I also noticed that one gets very little time to enter the password to pair the two devices.

    bump...

Am I the only one experiencing this Win7-WMDC-BT-WM6.1 sync issue? Is there anyone with a WM6.1 Smartphone synchronizing over Bluetooth using WMDC on Win7? Should I post this question in a different area of SevenForums?
