hello guys, i think i need help understanding some things
im a bit worried that i couldnt run my motherboard
driver cd, however ive done enough digging on various forums to know that windows 7 comes with damn near every
driver you could want.
i went through device manager and there are some things in the system devices section that windows ( and I ) cant seem to find a
driver for...technically
i say technically because under the "general" tab when you click properties, it says "there are no
drivers installed for this device". however when i go to the "driver" tab is has a driver listed with a
driver date: 6/21/2006
driver version:6.1.7600.16385
digital signer: Microsoft Windows
nearly everything in my device manager has this same driver version, date, and signer, however they say "this device is working properly"
these are the system devices that say they dont have a driver, but it seems windows installed one for it
-system timer
-system speaker
-programmable interrupt controller
-pci standard RAM conroller (8 entries)
-nvidia nForce4 hyperTransport Bridge
-nvidia nForce PCI system management
-numeric data processor
-Direct memory access controller
im just confused, can anyone help me out please before my head explodes? im extremely worried about the hypertransport bridge and ram controller's
