i post here cause I have a little problem, I installed 7 few weeks ago on my aspire 1690 and I've no sound...
the sound device is a ac-link... i've tried every driver I found on the net... without any success...
some topic that i read... but don t solve my problem :

have anyone any idea to help me (I already post on several forum... I am desesperate)
I am not sure where you checked initially but I am glad the problem has been resolved!

Which driver file do you pick? i have four and all of them say "access denied" after driver update
