Windows 7: sound driver on aspire 1690

So far I can only found drivers for XP and I highly doubt they will work..

Do you gave a CD that came with it with Vista Drivers on it?

ok it isn t solved cause i got blue screen when this drivers is on => i must restart windows 7 in safe mod to disable the driver & reinstalled it after a classic boot...

the blue screen tell me "NMI : memory parity error" in hardware malfunction...

up, this blue screen happens totally randomly & then at each startup...

If you have future driver issues check with the manufacturer of the hardware or check with the Windows compatibility center: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx.

I am not sure where you checked initially but I am glad the problem has been resolved!

Which driver file do you pick? i have four and all of them say "access denied" after driver update
