    EDIT: that worked, thank you...warning though when you try to install the notebook utilities you will get a error telling you that the wrong battery is inserted into the laptop/force you to hibernate before you install the drivers.

    Just start task manager and kill the process ISBMgr.exe *32 and/or make it stop from msconfig>starup services
