Windows 7: window 7 problem-black bordar in all games

hello!
i m using ati radeon 2400 xt
32-bit
acer-4920 with window 7.
when i used to play those games in vista,they are all fine.
now that i ve upgraded to window 7,there are now black bordar and the game screen is now smaller.what should i do?
i ve tried changing some resolution and still not ok.
all kind of games are having that kind of problem in my laptop.
games like wow3 frozen thrown,cod5 or even small mini games.
please ........ help!!!!!

Welcome to seven forums htinlinaugmkn: You need to go to the Acer site Acer Support - Drivers & Download and download the chipset drivers. Their is also a 4920 G model. Vista drivers only avalible and can be installed in compatbility mode It would also help to copy and paste a screen shot of your expanded device manger. So we can see if their are any yellow triangels next to any devices, in order to find drivers for them for you. Compatibility Mode Thanks Fabe

compatbility thing doest work on the game
but i search for some similar thread as you said and it help me with some game.
i just change it into highest resolution(1280x800) and some of games are now back to full screen.

still some game doest work yet.
world of warcraft 3 frozen thrown and others small game like pop cap games
they arent working as they dont have resolution of 1280x800 in game.

when i upgrade to window7,i unstall ATI program and after upgrading i reinstall the newest one.

It is possible that it is another mobile graphic card that is in need of a modified .inf file. You can try doing this through ATI MobilityModder - DriverHeaven.net Scroll down the page and you'll see your card is listed. If you can't get it to work through their directions. Then I would suggest you contact member torrentg as he has extensive success with getting these cards to function properly. Best of luck. Fabe
