Windows Vista drivers - are they safe on w7?

Good evening. I currently have a HP Pavilion dv6799ep running Windows Vista Premium 32-bit, but I got a new license for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and I would like to know if the Windows Vista 64-bit drivers will work on this version.

Thanks in advance

It depends. I have vista drivers for my ATI TV Tuner Pro 6500 and they work fine under Windows 7.

If you do decide to try the vista drivers on W7 make sure you get the 64-bit version, seeing how you're moving to W7 x64.

Good luck
