Windows Vista drivers - are they safe on w7?

Good evening. I currently have a HP Pavilion dv6799ep running Windows Vista Premium 32-bit, but I got a new license for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and I would like to know if the Windows Vista 64-bit drivers will work on this version.

Thanks in advance

It depends. I have vista drivers for my ATI TV Tuner Pro 6500 and they work fine under Windows 7.

If you do decide to try the vista drivers on Windows 7 make sure you get the 64-bit version, seeing how you're moving to Windows 7 x64.

Good luck
