Driver for Trust 460LR mouse

I have a Trust 460LR wireless optical mouse that is connected to my PC via a PS2 to USB converter.

When I connect it it is recognised and it works perfectly except for the back and forward button which do nothing.

As it's fairly old there is no driver on the Trust site and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

You can try and install the XP driver for the trust site in compatbility mode. click on the setup.exe file>properties>check the box run incompatiblity select XP. run the installer. Trust.com - Wireless Optical Office Mouse 460LR

Thanks for the reply, I did wonder about this but I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit so assumed the 32 bit windows one would probably not play nicely.

Well your most likely going to be stuck with what you have till you can afford to upgrade your mouse. Which I know finding one you like as much as the one you've been using is not always easy. Fabe

I'm gradually coming to the same conclusion. It's not particularly the cost of upgrading it's as you say I'm just very used to the mouse and the shape and size fit me well.

Oh well, I'll have to have a look around for something newer.

Thanks for your help.

Take a look at the Logitech Mx1000 It is very similar to yours, only you would have to find one used on the usually sites. It's what I use and have several of them cause I don't want to have to change in case I can't find them anymore. Or New here is what they have to offer. Mice

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try and pop to somewhere like PC World and get my hands on some of their offerings.

Thanks for the link to the tutorials although I've actually been running the Beta version of Win 7 since the very start of the year on a media pc and it's been really good.

It's only now that I've come to upgrade my work computer that I've found the mouse problem.

Thanks again.
