    Brother MFC-5440CN

Looking for the drivers for a MFC-5440CN, looked on Brother web site for drivers and they said that the drivers that MS use are ok, but the problem my MFC is on the network, so I can use it as a printer/fax/scanner.

Can someone tell me how to install it to windows 7 x64 or can I just use the Vista x64 driver to install it....

If you can't find any Windows 7 Drivers (I couldn't ) You can use the Vista Drivers, and in 75-80% of cases they WILL WORK.

Sadly Fabe his printer isn't included in the update but the Vista driver should work nonetheless...

    There's a solution!! Hurrah!!
I've encountered the same problem, and found it hard to believe the Brother's mistreatment of its MFS-5440CN owner is non-solvable.
    Well, it is!!
Download iCopy (iCopy - Free Photocopier), which is a free open source application, and revive your Brother MFC-5440CN's scanning capabilities!
