it seems that its not being detected at all...
it might (and i mean might) mean that the bluetooth chip has failed...
or that it might not be even there at all...
are you sure this laptop is supposed to have a bluetooth adapter?
if it does i would take up with Gateway or the store where it was bought... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Tx2500z Tablet Pc/Homemade Server OS Windows 7 Ult x64(x2), HomePrem x32(x4), Server 08 (+VM), 08 R2 (VM) , SuSe 11.2 (VM), XP 32 (VM) CPU Turion X2 ultra (oh well came with laptop)/P4 @3.2 (yes P4) Motherboard IDK HP Motherboard / Intel DG965SS Memory OCZ Dual Channel 4GB kit/ 1gb Dual Channel Graphics Card HD 3200 graphics /GMA x3100 (yay for intergrated!!) How did this work out? I have the same computer and the same problem.
I thought Blue Tooth was supposed to come with this model, but since it didn't work I purched two different USB Bluetooth dongles today and neither of them can connect. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Gateway NV4 OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit CPU i5 450 Memory 4gb Graphics Card nVidea GT330M Bluetooth not working on Gateway NV44 Windows 7 HELP! problems?
