heres a screenshot of my device manager which as 2 pages included
alright do it again but this time showing hidden devices...
goto view menu and choose "show hidden devices"
you dont have to open non-plug and play devices as this is a long list of usually "kernel drivers not having to do with bluetooth

This is a view including hidden devices, do you need me to expand any of the folders?

    network adapters...

it seems that its not being detected at all...
it might (and i mean might) mean that the bluetooth chip has failed...
or that it might not be even there at all...
are you sure this laptop is supposed to have a bluetooth adapter?
if it does i would take up with Gateway or the store where it was bought...

How did this work out? I have the same computer and the same problem.

I thought Blue Tooth was supposed to come with this model, but since it didn't work I purched two different USB Bluetooth dongles today and neither of them can connect.
