Network card driver freezing computer

I have a network card that doesn't have a Windows 7 driver but some googling dug up a driver that made it work with a side affect of freezing the computer every now and again. Maybe once a day max.

My problem now though is it randomly decided to go haywire today. The computer won't last more than a minute now without freezing. I have it disabled at the moment so I can use the computer but whenever I try to enable it again, it's frozen about a minute later.

I didn't change anything, didn't do anything at all, it just started happening. I'm not sure what to check, what to do at all really since it was working fine before.

Yea, I've read that but they don't have any drivers for Windows 7 or 64-bit Vista on the site. I have a driver that used to work but now doesn't. That's what I don't get. It froze maybe once a day, but now it freezes within a minute of the computer being on.

After I select that folder and click next it says Windows could not find driver software for your device

Like this then:

Right click it in device manager. Update driver software. Browse my computer. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Navigate to the extracted folder and double click on the .inf. Hit ok. Hit next. It will now install.

You can open the actual inf in notepad too, to make sure it is for x64.
