How could you solve it !
I worked one night at this problem. With win7 64bit and my lide20. but it doesent work for me.

At the device-manager, my lide20 is recognized as lide100, okay

But when i try to scan with any canon scan software or irfan view, i can not select the twain source

Please tell me, what did i wrong?
    Forgive my bad english.

Well in the image he's showing a LiDE100. My guess is that he's saying he used the drivers from the lide100 and installed them on the lide 20. It would be helpful if he was a little clearer though.

At least I hope that's what he's saying since we're talking two different scanners.

Install Windows XP Mode - Windows Virtual PC to run CanoScan

I realized I had Windows XP Mode - Windows Virtual PC installed. I loaded the drivers here and it worked! I can now scan using this method. I couldn't get it to work in Windows 7 64 bit. So I'm glad I found a work around.
