I don't see drivers on this site. It's a nice site but no drivers.

This thread isn't making much sense.
It's a forum section about drivers.
    It does that.
    And what link?
    Why any link.

The SevenForums drivers forum is a place to discuss and correct issues with Windows 7 drivers.

It is not a repository for drivers, but posts will often contain links to the original providers sites where the latest drivers may be downloaded.

In fact links to actual downloadable driver files would be a breech of forum rules

Isn't exceptions in place so that we can privde a person a working link for a driver? Would we need to upload the driver here and then let them download it? What if the driver is too big?

Wanted to make sure I haven't been violating the rules in the process

    Hi Chris,

Just to clarify, It's forum policy to provide where possible links to the vendor's download site rather than direct links to a download. This enable the person needing the file to verify the source and nature of the file

Sometimes it may be necessary to upload a file to the forum, but this should only be done if there is no other way, to save bandwidth and storage needs to a minimum for the site.
