    Motherboard update

Hi guys, I need to update my motherboard with this update to stop the damn error when accessing iphone with itunes.
    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-P55-UD3R (rev. 1.0)

Just wondering from anyone with experiance, when I update will it reset my BIOS settings and restore with default ones from the update.
    Cheers BlinkY

    Hello Blinky,

I have a Gigabyte board as well. It did not reset the BIOS for me, but to be safe you should always be prepared and treat it as if it will. Write down or save your settings, then after the flash double check to make sure everything is still set that way.

I flashed mine using a USB key with the extracted BIOS file on it at boot.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Update: Updated BIOS, everything seems to be ok, dont think any settings were changed, (I think theres an option to disable default changes before BIOS update).
    Thanks Brink.
