Windows 7: HP Laserjet 1000

You will save the download to your desktop or documents. What you find there is what I refer to as the link. You right click on it to put it into compatiblity mode. Then you click on it again to install.

it says that compability mode is windows xp service pack 2, and i cant change it. or it must stay in that compability mode? and ima using windows 7 ultimate 64bit

Lets be sure that you understand compatiblity mode.

You go to the company website and look for your driver. If they have one for Windows 7, you just download that and no need for compatibility mode. I do not think that you even need compatibilty mode. Most companies have drivers for windows 7, now.

i was on HP site and they dont have driver for windows 7 for hp laserjet 1000 and it will never be driver for windows 7

OK then use compatiblity mode as you mentione in your prior post. What you are getting with compatiblty mode is that your OS behaves as though it is XP for that printer, it should work.

it doesnt work it always wants .inf and i point to zusb and it wont work. but thx for help

If you have Ultimate you can use this.
