Welcome to seven forums Pablo24k: Your base system device drivers are either a Ricoh or Texas Instruments card reader and the other possibly an Alps or synaptics touch pad driver.Try going to the HP web site and installing the drivers in those categories. If Vista is only available Use it in compatibility mode Compatibility Mode Please post back Thanks Fabe Ok on the site they are synaptics touhj pad and Ricoh card reader Vista only http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=1842189 Of course unless your model # is followed by one of the many different versions like CTO.ea, t CTO, z CTO. I only checked with the first dv9000 C T O Hope this will help.

And if that doesn't work, hit up the original part manufacturer. So if Ricoh made your card reader, check out their website for drivers. HP doesn't always update their drivers correctly or in a timely fashion.

This helped me a lot too! I didn't think the SD Card reader needed a driver. Thanks!
