Windows 7: Administrator Rights issue

Administrator Rights issue

I tried to install Soni drivers in my dell inspiron.
since it does not have admin rights it throws an exception
so i have enabled the administrator rigths. this was the steps to do...

1. In command prompt c:> net user Administrator /active:yes

Now I am able to login through administrator..
But still i am unable to install my soni drivers...

Can anybody else to help me out

Hello Ramakrishnan,

Welcome to 7 Forums.

The way to do this from the account you created at install is to either right click on the install file and select 'run as administrator'. You can also set it to do this every time by rt. click/properties. Compatibility Tab and check run as admin.

Yes, I started to install by right clicking the file, and give run administrator.
It starts runs, after completing 50%, it says that the directory has not have administrator rights.
It throws an exception and came out.
