Integrated Camera Dell Latitude E6400 Not working

My Dell Latitude E6400 has windows 7 installed everything works fine but I cannot get my integrated camera to work. I've tried installing the drivers on the dell website with no luck. If I check under the device manager it says unknown device. I tried updating the driver from the device manager also but I get nothing. Can anyone help?

Flash your system with bios A27, as well as update your chipset. You didn't say if your OS was 32- or 64-bit.

Okay. What about installing the driver manually?

The windows update yields 1 update for the driver. The result fails giving me an error to update. I dont have the manufacture disc. And the dell website has nothing for this integrated camera using windows 7. Its very frustrating. Ive been working on this for 3 nights

    Creative Labs integrated webcam.

The 2008 driver could be problematic.

That's the driver for E6400. Could be it's not good for Win 7. Another possibility is to extract the driver first. Then follow the instructions posted above, which are:

@Tepid I have the software installed already but it says no camera.
@ Lemur I went to the device manager and the driver is listed (imageing devices) with a traingle and an exclamation point reading "unknown device" I tried updating from there but it tells me that it recognizes the driver as being up to date. The "General Tab" says code 18 "Reinstall thedrivers for this device" When I click reinstall it asks me search automatically or search on computer. Searching on computer Gives me 2 options with 2 different dates from Creative labs. Ive done both. It tells me " Windows encountered a problem installing the driver for your device " Clicking on "Search automatically" Gives me the result that the driver is up to date.
