Someone For the Love of God HELP ME PLEASE!!

So i just ordered my new Sager NP9850. This thing is the nuts, totally maxed out just gorgeous. Sadly, I cannot play with my shiny new toy. Before I get to the problem I will list system specs so maybe its blatantly obvious to someone who really knows computers (which I do not). I am posting this from a different computer so I cant just do the belarc or system info copy.

    Sager NP9850 Model M98MU
    Windows 7 Ultimate
    8GB RAM
    2X SLI NVidia 280M GPUs
3X 500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard drives in RAID 0 Config
Intel Core2 Quad Extreme CPU Q9300 @ 2.53 GHz (not overclocked)

I got the computer, installed the windows 7 and the drivers on the disc that came with it. Everything boots up just fine and LOOKS like it is doing alright but it keeps freezing up... about every minute or two and only freezes for about 10-15 seconds. I have also had the screen reset a couple of times with the popup saying my graphics driver has failed and recovered. When I first came across these problems I assumed I had installed the drivers wrong or there had been an error or something but I reinstalled windows and the drivers and still same problems. The event viewer shows several thousand events in seemingly random places. I got a lot of RAID errors and plenty others. I cant seem to find a fix for it online as it seems I am the only person on the planet with this laptop . SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

    Welcome psmith84,

Good thing you came here to post your problem. As this is the only place on the planet with enough great minds to solve it.

Looks like we will have to arrange for the Ultimate Windows 7 Guru Team to work on this one. I will send out the distress call shortly. Please standby

    That must be frustrating.

Is there any way you can get into event viewer to see what is going on?

type eventwr in search. go to the windows logs>application tab. you are looking for errors (they have red in the first column). the is a ton of data there but you want to look for arrors that say app hang, app crash, etc around the time you machine froze. When you wind them use the built in snipping tool (type snipping in search) to make a screen shot and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip) in the reply form

    See pics

Is all the memory recognized. Try task manger, to check out the amount of memory that is recognized. Alt Cntl Delte Will bring up task manager.

I cant do that because i am in the navy on duty at my ship right now. So my laptop is sitting behind me while i am posting on the ships internet =(. I will open the event viewer and try to manually type the info on one or two of the events at the time of freeze... like i said though there are a LOT of events. and to richc46 yes i have plenty of memory according to event viewer.

We are here to help everyone, but it is nothing compared to what you are doing for us in these troubled times, in the Navy. God bless you and best of everything.

We will get the answer for you.
