    OpenGL 1.4 drivers for GMA500?

So basically I'm trying to see if my netbook can play a certain game.
I've installed and ran it. on the firs run it gave an error that it could not detect hardware configuration, and it needed a gpu with generic opengl 1.4 drivers. the gma500 is capable of opengl 2.0.
    how do I fix this?
    here's the full report:

If you search the web you'll find their are updated drivers for the GMA 500. It comes with mixed reviews and is mostly referred to use on Acer and Viao netbooks. Because of this I'm hesitant to post any links. But you may want to do some searching and research on your own then decide what you might want to try.

OK, I found some interesting stuff:
The Windows XP drivers support Opengl 2.0, but only DirectX 9
The Windows 7 drivers support DirectX 11, but only OpenGL 1.1
i don't know for sure what XP's drivers are really like.
but, WTF? why doesn't the Win7 drivers support openGL 2.0?
