    Connecting older camcorder with USB


    Hi,

    I have a Sony Handycam® Camcorder - DCR-TRV19E

    I'm trying to import video from it onto my laptop but it is not recognised.

    I found a driver for XP but not for 7/Vista

    - any suggestions ?

    You can try installing the XP driver in compatibility mode.Right click on setup.exe file>then properties>then compatibility>check the run in compatibility box>choose XP then install as administrator. Hope this will help. Fabe
