    Yet Another Sound Issue

Not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere, but My Windows 7 64 bit Asus (brand new, I can get the specs but not sure if I need to) hits 100% CPU no matter what I do. Turning off the High Definition Audio Controller, or the connected Conexant Cocoa II High Definition SmartAudio solves this... but then I don't have any sound.
tried installing a realtek audio driver, but it failed to do anything.

I just want to watch netflix, it feels like with 4 gb RAM and an i3 Intel I should be able to.

Sounds like you have the wrong drivers installed. What sound card do you have?

    Conexant Website said:
At the request of these manufacturers, Conexant does not provide end-user support or drivers for PC audio products. If you have an issue with the audio configuration in Windows 7, please contact the manufacturer of your computer.
In other words, please fill in your system specs...
