HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50F driver needed for windows 7

my dvd/cd drive isnt working on my gateway fx seince updateing to windows 7 beta. i may have to wate till they update the driver but im wondering if anyone has a trick to get it to work. this is what the drivor error says.

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

it has 2 drivers in the detailed drivers box one is windows verified the other is not and i cannot seem to delete the one that isnt w/o deleting them both and last time i tryed that it crashed windows and i got the all famose blue screen of much sadness.

any suggestions? i tryed updateing and uninstalling tryed doing scans on it and everything it just dosnt like the new windows now it seems.

Laptop drivers can be tough to find since they usually have to come from the manufacturer. Also if it's an older laptop it may be even tougher to find. Look here:

Try downloading the program to find the drivers for you.

    Hello crystalinewings,

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

In addition to the above, you could try installing the driver in Compatibility mode. Info here if needed. Compatibility Mode

    Please keep us posted.
