How can I tell if correct chipset driver is installed

Hi, How can I tell if correct chipset driver is installed for my mo/bo (ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO) the chipset is the AMD 785G/SB710. I have looked in device manager under system devices but I cant see anything that says AMD or 785G/SB710. I am concerned that win7 might have installed its own drivers.

I would go to the ASUS suport page for your board and download the correct driver/chipset for 7 should let you select 32 or 64 bit to match your OS. And then install them.
Unless I'm not understanding your question and you've done that already and just want to confirm what drivers your using.

Ok thanks I have now down loaded latest drivers for everything I did use the Asus mo/bo cd to install drivers after fitting new board but I am not sure they installed I will try installing the ones just down loaded and then see if anything has changed (still like to know how to check if right ones are installed though)

On another matter how come the Asus VGA drivers are 320mb !!! as the on board graphics are ATI 4200 GPU and and ATI driver for that card (or chip) is only about 60mb. Or is the VGA not the same as the graphics card ? sorry to sound so dense.

    Correction:
VGA drivers alone is 326.69MB + chipset, and extras, my bad
once you install this, reboot, and let me know if you can find the proper drivers in device manager (display adapters>Properties>driver info)for VGA display drivers version 8.660.0.0, and check System Devices before or after:)

i dont even use those discs, i go straight to their site, likely more updated.

    Hope this helps:)
