Or if you want the latest and not the nearly 7 month old version that Asus has go here,

    Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM

click on Motherboard/Integrated Drivers, then under Individual Drivers (Motherboard/Chipset) select your version of 7 (32 or 64 bit) and download the Southbridge driver. You only need the RAID or AHCI driver if you are using either of them (needs to be set in the bios first).

The older Asus driver has all of them in a single download and will only install the parts necessary.

Asus is one of those that hasn't been known for keeping their download pages the most up to date. With newer components it has almost always been better to go to the chipset or GPU manufacturer's site to get the latest drivers.

Also the drivers they have for his board were released a month before the board came out, and are also the exact same one's that Asus has for my board (slightly older M4A78 Pro with the 780G/SB700).

I would have thought, you would first identify the type of chipset your mobo has, by usung this tool "Intel® Chipset Identification Utility"

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear...90&FamilyId=40

Then you download each chipset device drivers that matches that chipset type and install them.

Nice idea but only works with Intel chipset based motherboards, the OP has an AMD based (785G/SB710) motherboard.

For as long as I can remember, ASUS was always a little behind on updating their downloading page(s), so yes, I can see it's definitely better to go visit the chip-set manufacture's (AMD/Intel/NVIDIA) website.
Just when I thought ASUS would keep up
    Now i know.

If there's ever a program to tell me everything about a computer's hardware, it's this program.
