    Synapsis Touchpad not working

The virtual scroll on my touchpad isnt working. Is it because the driver is corrupt? and if so, would reinstalling the driver fix it?

    Hello,

How long has it been giving you trouble? Would a system restore help?

It just started like an hour ago. I was playing Pocket Tanks, and then it just closed out of the game, and when I went to troubleshoot, it stopped working.

Try a System Restore. Search for it in the start menu.

I think a system restore is pretty extreme, if you haven't already tried updating your driver: Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly.

A system restore should be your last try after other repair options.

It says i have the most up to date one, but i know that is a lie. When i downloaded the driver installer, it said i would have to uninstall the old one before i install the new one, otherwise it wont work.

If i uninstall it though, wont my touchpad stop working?

I believe so. Do you have a mouse that you can connect?
