I meant the NVIDIA driver - sorry for the confusion. Find a model with 7 x64 that is close to identical, otherwise try the NVIDIA installer in safe mode.
    Thank you for your suggestion.
There are no nVidia drivers in my model's series for Win7 x64.
There are nVidia Win7 x64 drivers for other series, but when I try to run them, I am unsuccessful:
"This Update is not intended for use with your computer model."

I will now try the nVidia installer in safe mode.
If the other series is similar to yours - and it must be - extract with universal extractor and then install normally.
    Thank you for your suggestion.
I believe there was some progress... I did manage to install a nVidia driver, but there is no evidence upon system restart of the installation - neither a driver folder in Windows, nor my GPU in the device manager.
I am currently attempting another nVidia driver using the Universal Extractor.

Edit: Unsuccessful. Could not locate drivers for my hardware.
Edit2: I think the system has restored to a previous point, as my Windows Update is showing that it is installing updates that it already had installed.

    Bless you!

I installed the drivers from the Sony x64 Drivers link.
    Successful:
Thank you very much for your help, both Frostmourne and especially FZ21Z!
    Have a very happy day!

Now will talk to Sony about why they had hidden those from their support site for my series.

Try this - NVIDA Driver Install - Start To Finish...

    And report back.
