    Bluetooth Driver Problem

    HI

I formatted my samsung N210 and i can't install the Bt driver (the samsung's and another from brodcomm's website) becaue it says that the Bt must be turned off first.

So i tried to turn it off on Start Menu-->Printers and Devices. The problem is that he Bt isnt't there, so i searched the hardware list on the computer and the Bt isn't there also.

    What should i do?

    Thanks a lot!

Some of those netbooks have 3G mobile cards instead, are you sure yours has bluetooth?

run msconfig and check if bluetooth service is there.

I read that you can extract the files from the bluetooth install program (i.e. using universal extractor), and run the setup.exe directly.

Usually if i need to install a driver, such message would not make me stop. you either can install the driver or it won't install becos of what it wants. Have you tried proceeding?

i had exactly the same problem 'cos my bluetooth is integrated in my laptop, where i couldnt 'turn it off'. I tried turning it off with the wireless/bluetooth switch on the laptop but that didnt work. I had to extract the files from the bluetooth download using the program i mentioned in my last post, and now i have a fully functioning bluetooth stack.
