I downgraded my Sony VAIO from Vista to XP. Recently I reinstalled Windows 7 and everything went very well except for my video. I have an external monitor but the VAIO on Windows 7 would not recognize it. Trying Fn F7 or Win-P the monitor would not switch. To resolve the issue I downloaded the Vista NVIDIA Driver and that fixed my problem.
