Sony vgn-sz430n Updating bois to enable intel vt

I'm trying to update the bois to R0112N0 in order to enable intel vt so that I may run virtual xp mode in windows 7. However I'm having trouble updating the bois When I download the utility and install it first it gives me prompt that reads "Cannot read system information" after that it says installation succesfull and then windows asks me to reinstall using recommened setting, after I do that it says that this update is made only to run on windows vista. So I'm kinda stuck. Is there anyway around this? I really need to enable the vt in my bois. for any one intrested on how to enable it here is a good tutorial I found

welcome to seven forums.
That os compatibility thing is probably there to insure that nothing goes wrong. Im sorry, but it seems like you will need to install vista, update bios, and then install windows 7 again. You can install windows vista on a separate partition, install the bios, and boot from a dvd to delete the vista partition. Afterwards, use the windows 7 repair dvd to swap the bootloader back to windows 7
