Windows 7: Problems with ATI video driver on Win7 x64

No because your card is already in that one (from the 5740G). Hit Ctrl+F and look for 033E1025 on this page and it will show up in the list of DevID's.

Ok, so I dwnloaded VGA driver for 5740g, replaced INF, installed... Nothing- installer announced that all components are up to date. When I replaced INF with the one in 7540g VGA driver folder, installer gave me an option to install additional drivers for things I've never dreamed of... In either case when installing in custom mode, in the list there was no such thing as display driver. Every single time I installed with Catalyst install manager it was the same thing. I assume I'm getting quite annoying with my problem, but what can I do...

Have you tried doing a manual install of just the driver through Device Manager? If not and unsure how,

the steps are all the same IN 7 as in Vista. When you get to the browse part, point it to the folder that has that INF in it.

You guys have no idea how much I searched the net for someone with the same problem.. Although the cards are different I´m am having the exact same problem!

I really dont know what to do anymore.. i´ve tried everything you guys said to do and still i end up with an old driver that windows insists on saying its the best.

When I try to manually intall windows says catalyst driver for Windows 7 x64 is not compatible with windows 7 x64 .. And keeps the old one.

My video card is Ati radeon hd3200 integrated.

COuld you please help me? I never had to post anything ever before.. I could always find someone who had the problem before and solved it.. but this one is kicking my ass..

i had the same problem but i fixed it by donwloading from acers site....

i have a new problem now, i cant upgrade my intel graphics adapter becuase its linked with ati and when i install new drivers my cmoputer wont boot, i have to system restore... ACER=Fail

i hve the same problem my hd 5470 is nt detected and in device manager it is named as standard vga adapter no solution still finded
