We have a computer running Windows 7 with a Gateway LP1925 widescreen monitor. But the only screen resolutions available are 4:3. No driver is available at Gateway. Any ideas on how I can force a 16:9 resolution? I think the monitor's max. res. is 1600x900.

welcome,
If you are running an intel graphics chipset, and you download the latest driver, there is a feature that allows you to set a custom resolution. I wouldn't suggest forcing a resolution though. If the resolution is hidden, it is because it cannot display correctly.
