    SyncMaster 245B digital driver

Hi everyone - the files that I downloaded for this monitor include both analogue and digital drivers however the digital one doesn't appear in the compatible hardware list. So I tried the analogue driver but I get a horrid flicker with only 59 and 60 Hz refresh rates available, so I turned off the show hardware compatible tick in order to then be able to utilise the digital driver, and its better but still there's a flicker.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could do??
    Many thanks

    Hi piersonal,

First, could you please fill out your system specs as completely as possible? The more information the better. Minimum additional info would be 32- or 64-bit Windows 7 and what edition, your video card model, and any antivirus software you may have installed.

Second, it sounds like those are not the proper drivers for you. Could you please give us a link to the web page from which you downloaded them?

    Cheers,

Hi Walker and thanks. Sorry about not providing enough info, but that should be better now. You must get sick and tired of having to ask!! :)

AV is MS ForeFront and I downloaded the drivers from ParetoLogic DriverCure

and this appears to be the same as you get from Support for SM245B SAMSUNG
which I also tried but not much difference from what I can see

I'm sorry - I was being a donkey. The digital cable wasn't in fact properly in place, so I rectified that and it can now see it. Funny that!
I did find then that, although it could see both screens, it wasn't making much sense of the digital one (the anolgue was still fine) but as I will always want digital, I have unplugged the analogue cable and everything is now working perfectly .. in digital
Thanks and sorry for wasting your time
