The solution isn't working for me.

I tried the solution a few months ago, but now it's coming up with a different screen, I don't know what to do, the driver list changed and I cant find the one I need..

Try a different USB port if you have one, or reinstall the Xbox360 drivers

So on the left hand side you don't see anything like "Windows Common Controller for Window Class " or Microsoft common controller"

I would uninstall the device in Device manager. Reboot the computer, then try again. Is this a new controller, perhaps its a clone and that is why your having issues.

It's not brand new, and it's a wireless receiver, the company is Ortz, but it was working fine for almost a year and i'm just now starting to get problems with it, it's not coming up in the device manager with the stuff already installed, i tried reinstalling it, but it didn't work, and i couldn't find the right driver in the list

I would try putting new batteries in. If that doesn't fix it, uninstall the unknown device, reboot and try again.

Here is pictured guide on how to install

I found out that it's a hardware faliure, the micro chip fried or something, that's what the screen i posted meant, time to buy a new one, but a real microsoft one this time

I just bought a Wireless Gaming Receiver and the disc included was broken. The device appears to work, but I don't have a driver for it. It says on the package that it is compatible with Windows 7, but I cannot find a driver download online. Does anyone know where I could get one? Thanks.
