    Intel GM965 driver problems Windows 7 64


    Hi,

    I'm installing windows 7 on a friends laptop, acer aspire 6920. Everything works perfect but Windows 7 is obviously convinced that the X3100 card of the Intel GM965 chipset is just a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter".

    I have tried to install every driver I could get my hands on but they always give me the same damn error message: "This system does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

    Would be much appreciated if someone could help me out.

    Are you having trouble because of this?

    Try downloading the Chipset drivers from Acer: Acer Support - Download Drivers

    It's their driver page with the option to choose Vista or 7 drivers. The chipset is on the Vista Home Premium page. I should have clarified that.

I have Intel chipset GM965 my laptop is Dell Vostro A860.And I can't play CS1.6 clearly on Windows7.This have lagging.I think OpenGL is not good working. Please help me guys.:cry:
I tried to play Wolfire Games - Lugaru (i have bought the game but the demo is good test) on my laptop with Intel gma 965, or the X3100 if you prefer, and it is unplayable. Using the included 965 driver with windows 7 RC and Beta both, and even updating to the newest version currently available...
