    Hi!

    Glad I found this thread cause I have the exact same problem.

    This is what happened. I was running windows xp and having internet working without any problems. I installed windows 7 ultimate 32bit, and when its done I cant get internet connection. Device is installed properly.

    Too make sure my dsl modem is not faulty I connected my laptop and I got internet access right away.

    Im curious, did the OP get internet to work? I got the same network card as u, rtl8139.

    I am about to upgrade from xp to 7 and have this same device. Is it just a wired network card? as long as the wireless works I don't care if the wired does not....?

    but is there a fix for this anyway?

    seems there is a driver on the realtek website anyway!

Hello guys, maybe i have such a stupid question, but i have to ask. Is realtek RTL8139/810x wireless? My last network card crashed and caused BSOD`s, co i got new card from a friend, and i dont know if its wireless.
