6.5 Works great on Windows 8 but my Windows 7 PC's aren't liking it. It's causing both PC's to hang on shutdown with a "Waiting for Programs to close" message. I went back to 6.32 for now.
I'm also getting weird issues like it forgetting my scroll wheel setting, meaning the scroll wheel just stops working. I have to either reboot or exit the program out the notification area. Anyone have similar issues?

This is on Win 7 with my Logitech Performance MX mouse. No issues with the Logitech cordless wave keyboard though.

Anyway I’m thinking about going back to the previous setpoint drivers.
I was having scroll wheel issues in a game that made switching weapons a pain.
No problems playing the same game in Windows 8 with setpoint 6.5 though.

Going back to 6.32 in windows 7 fixed it.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure the software is the issue. Never had setpoint issues before this one. By the way what mouse are you using?

    Thanks

M570 Wireless Trackball, I'm thinking its that smooth scroll plugin that's messing things up.

What smooth scroll plugin? I never installed any plugins. Is this something intergrated into the new drivers/software?

Yes, previously known as Flow Scroll,

The Logitech Flow Scroll is a software plugin that provides a smooth scrolling experience using Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 6 and up, and Chrome 13 and up while browsing through web pages via the internet. It is Windows 7 only
and now integrated in with 6.5.

I got a popup asking if I wanted to enable it the first time I launched IE after installing 6.5. I don't remember ever seeing it with any previous version of SetPoint. I actually like it, makes scrolling nice and smooth.

Ah, now that you mention it, I did see something in IE asking me to enable something Logitech. Well it does seem to work intermittently, meaning it sometimes disables itself.

Well when I do my OS reinstall in the next coming weeks I’ll have to reconsider installing this version; hopefully they get it fixed in the next release.

    Thanks.

I just uninstalled 6.5 and went back to 6.32 on my Windows 7 PC's.

    Error in latest version

Not sure what's going on here but I just did a fresh install of Win 7 and now for some odd reason I keep getting a Setpoint (6.51.8, latest version) error saying the program isn't running right and the program closes (disappears from notification area).
