    GBB36X drivers on Gigabyte EP45-UD3P

I have a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P I'm working on. I have an E-SATA bracket hooked to two ports run by a separate controller for the other SATA ports. I "think" the ports are JMicron controlled, but all it says is "Gigabyte GBB36X" I have the motherboard disk and the driver on it seems to be having some trouble....but I have a "yellow triangle" on one of the controllers. I have Win7 Pro 64 bit on it.

Anybody know if this is a JMicron controller? I can find the latest driver for the "JMB36X" controller...but I just can't find the info. Thanks for any info :)

I got the "SATA 2" controller driver from the Gigabyte website and it's working, but went from two controllers to one....I suppose it's okay if it's working.

Its usually noted as having a problem when you have 2 instances of the same device, so I would say you have come to the correct conclusion :).

The SATA update would also work for E-Sata - makes sense.
