Windows 7 x64 Build 6801

Hi, I am using the x64 Build 6801. Every single driver works for me, here's how:

1. Go to your manufacturers web site. Go to the the drivers section.

2. Enter in your product number.

3. When you have to select your OS, choose Vista (32-bit) if you are on Windows 7 32 bit. Select Vista x64 if you are on Windows 7 x64.

***Rule of thumb: Select the Vista driver, but it is crucial that the arhcitecture matches your Windows 7 version!***

4. Download all the drivers onto a USB drive or equivalent.

5. Install on Windows 7!

Heck, I bet you can even streamline them into the ISO file using vLite, since Windows 7 uses the same WIM based installation as Vista does.

NOTE: If you have a custom-built computer, get the drivers off the component manufacturer's web site.
